Hello again
and welcome to my third blog post.
Today we are
going to share with one another the topic regarding cooperative learning as a
new method of teaching that was widespread on the west world. In addition, we
are going to talk also about the benefits it brings into teaching and how successful
it is.
As the name
indicates itself cooperative means working in groups and in our case through
this method the groups should be small ones that work together in order to
reach a mutual goal at the very end, to collaborate and succeed by sharing
knowledge and also learning from one another’s perspective.
Furthermore,
this method of cooperating is really flexible since it has the luxury to be
used in every task and activity. Groups work in favor of one another rather
than being egotistical and competitive which inspires them to get to know more
one another and supporting them by wracking the enclosure and self-isolation or
introvert nature that can appear often in different ages. The achievement and
good results will be more apparent and also the racial, stereotypes, discrimination
in age will be avoided in maximum, for the sake of the sailing into safe waters
that would bring accomplishment of the tasks and amelioration regarding their skills
and knowledges.
All of these
good benefits can be productive when combined with the proper manner and
activities that help boosting the social skills and mental ones. I would mention
also the interdependency a student can profit even though they work in groups,
since every single’s person opinion and work are really worthy and to be
appreciated whether would be they that would give a helping hand or would
deteriorate the situation and worsen the work of the whole group. On the other hand,
this would make them realize that they are really important which as a result
they would increase self-esteem in case they lacked it.
It is worthy
to mention also that while experimenting with this technique, the results were
quite impressive and the productivity in general subjects had a highly noticeable
progress. Additionally, the idea that they should work in groups this time differently
not to see or expect the failure of the others but to count on their power, to strengthen
the bond and achieve more and more.
“They would
either sink, or swim to the shore together”
If we would treat
the things correctly, and embrace this as a technique in which we would harvest
the good seeds, we would be grateful to introduce it to our manners of teaching
in the future which appears really convincing, demanding and challenging for both
us as a future teacher and our students.
Thank you
for your time😊.
Hey Klesta! What caught my eye in this post is the caption you included "They would either sink, or swim to the shore together ", it fits the case perfectly. Team work makes the dream work as they say, so if there is no coordination and understanding if one goes down , all the others go with him/her. But this method ensures pozitive outcome. As you have stated the benefits, students learn together so that they can subsequently perform higher as individuals.
ReplyDeleteHi Klest. As always you have done a great job. Yes it is true that group work helps a lot to overcome and avoid discrimination between pupils , and that it helps pupils that have some isolation problems to be involved with others. Besides, when pupils cooperate they seem to have more fun and to learn more and better. Way to go! Thanks😜
ReplyDeleteHi Klesta! Besides the fact that you always post the first one, I really liked your work. It was very structured and the concept of cooperative learning was very well analyzed by you. See you!
ReplyDeleteHi classmate, I really liked your work. You have done a great job and I really appreciate you on how you are always the first one. The most impressing part waas the last paragraph and you let us know that cooperative learning is something that we will need everywhere.
ReplyDeleteCan’t wait from you to see other posts, bye 👋
Hey Klesta! l am so in love with this post of yours, congratulations on always having a new layout for it that attracts readers attention more and more, as about the work itself it is also a good one. Your elaboration in everything is perfect, as we all know cooperative learning is very important and as you mentioned in your post our students will either sink or swim to shore together using it and its our job as teachers to guide them! :)
ReplyDeleteHello Klesta. I really liked your work and how you handled the topic. I like the fact that you mentioned that working in a group reduces competition between individuals and increases activity between them. In this way each of us is activated and feels the same with everyone because they are not a little shy and can rarely activate themselves. Very good work and success in other tasks!
