Hey fellas, nice to come back here again.

As we all know we got to discuss regarding the two posed questions.

Firstly, I have to say that the method based on projects corresponds to a new and innovative approach that embraces the mutual work and mutual interests. That’s what makes it unique and worthy I think, the fact of engaging everyone into the lesson and challenging them to acquire more. Then we have to be aware of the fact that this method relies on gaining knowledge and new skills by counting on the good will, complicity and dynamism of the team’s spirit.

If I were to choose among the technological tools, I would say that some would suffice but once we know more, we are eager to learn more than just some. Additionally, we already know that a student cannot do without technology nowadays and we cannot just out of the blue, be mean and restrict them from using their phone or their laptops or worse remain traditional on our lecturing. I assume that that would be wrong and our class would be the most boring one. For an hour worthy to be attended, I would say that as much innovative as it is and as much as we see that new methods and new tools are incorporated, curiosity would bring us to be present in this lecture. Considering that, it would be like a good appetizer when offering the golden meal, so the information transmitted would be appealing and when learned in a visualized manner it has the tendency to be absorbed quite well.

Now let me provide you with the ‘good tools’ or important ones according to my perspective that would show productivity on what they learn. First, I would mention the dear buddies where we count on for everything in our lives: Google and Wikipedia, our life saviors. Then to get more into the thing we have our recent tools created with the purpose of having long calls and adjusting features that would improvise a class like the option of the board, raising hands video conferences or sharing content like zoom, classroom, google platform, hangout, or teams we are currently using and also the other content sharing apps like you tube that helps us to share links and useful videos, also others like blogger we were taught this year also to share knowledge, our personal experiences and a piece of our work or things we are required to do. We were introduced with drop box as well where we all have access and we can store our docs, videos and things we want to share with one another. As I mentioned earlier, I do not think that one tool is better than the other one, on the contrary we have to know them and try as more as we want to, even out of curiosity sometimes and when we see that our student like it and find it easy to be managed and also show progress when working with it, we support them more and try to learn them what we know and share knowledge with one another. That is why they can be presented with most of them, in order to use those tools in a near future for other purposes too.

Regarding presentation tools, I still would not lean on only something specific, since some of us can get the best out of an app or tool that for someone else it can be seen as a total disaster and failure. As such, a good work I think does not count only on a few graphical things you are going to choose, it is much more than that, it is the information you provide up to the wallpaper you choose to present it and your articulation and fluency when presenting. However, what I would personally suggest is that I always choose Microsoft office tools, like power point, excel, or word and so on, or also publisher is a good one, Visme since it allows many possibilities in graphics, software presentations and much more options, Prezi too and so on.

All in all, as I still rely on old comrades, power point, inserting videos links and images and Word also is still one of my favorites since it keeps the things simple and it is really comfortable to be used. I do believe that with the new generation, they will be much capable than us into enhancing new things related with technology which apparently would make them more productive and successful.

  2. Hey Klesta, thank you for mentioning in your post that nowadays we can not prevent our students from technology but instead we should learn how to use technology in our advantage in our classrooms, l think that is something that many teachers do and it's just wrong, technology is helpful and with the tools you mentioned in your post is just what students need to be successful.

  3. Hi Klesta! I really enjoyed reading your post! I like the overall unique way you addressed the topic and gave your honest opinion about it. I really appreciate it. And I agree with you that we should let our students try and explore different tools and see their reaction, if their comfortable with it, and give them support when they need it and vice versa share knowledge with one another, as sometimes they might know more the we do.
